The Medical Equipment Manager works under the Materials Management team and supports DeltaHealth’s daily administration of tasks, scheduling and problem solving related to medical equipment and consumables planning and procurement. Reporting to the Materials Management functional leader, he/she will participate in the medical equipment and consumables purchase activities, such as user preference and technical requirement collection, supplier sourcing and management, supplier database management, and deal with all related internal stakeholder. Essential Management Duties & Responsibilities 主要工作职责• Working with user departments (medical doctors, nursing and other ancillary services) on collecting business needs from function, performance and cost control perspectives. • Prepare bidding/tendering documents on medical equipment, instruments and consumable by working with internal customers, external experts or QS firms. • Sourcing the suitable vendors and communicate with them on the requirements and product ions. • Organize the tendering process (open public tendering, competitive bidding and/or price negotiation) to get the most suitable products with optimal price. • Negotiate procurement and service contracts and ensure proper ution. • Follow up on procurement process. Ensure on time deliveries. • Manage the ME installation and training by vendors and coordinate with user departments on follow up issues• Fixed assets registration and management• Medical equipment maintenance management (contract negotiations and coordination with Biomedical Engineering Department) • Manage the budgeting of medical equipment (ME) and consumables with user departments and Finance. • Support Fidelity on medical equipment and other medical related procurement for the new hospital projects, including all the equipment for general hospital clinics, ER, Operation Theater, ICU/CCU, Ward, Health Screening Center, Imaging Center, Lab, Blood Bank and Pharmacy.• Be responsible for other procurement related activities as needed, such as importation of the equipmentJob Relationships 工作关系与汇报Title of Supervisor (s): Associate Dir. Of Materials ManagementFunctional Contacts: Internal Stakeholder: External Stakeholder: Qualifications 岗位要求Education & Experience 学历背景与专业经历• A bachelor’s degree from top university, medical degree is a plus• Over five years of experiences in medical equipment and/consumable procurement for Class 2A or above hospital preferred• Experience in managing various bidding processes. • Good communications skills in both English and Chinese Mandarin, and good interpersonal skills • Good team work, organizational skills and ability to work with multiple deadlines• Strong internal customer & business focus, result orientation and change management experience• Knowledge of ERP (Oracle)system is a plus
